Fuzzy Feet!

Christmas Project: "Fuzzy Feet" - Curtner Studios

Everyone needs a new pair of warm (fuzzy, if that’s your style!) slippers for Christmas to keep their feet warm all winter.

This Christmas we have the opportunity to warm the feet of our neighbors at Curtner Studios (near Jack in the Box) who were homeless, but are now housed! Partnering with Abode Services, a non-profit that provides permanent, supportive housing and services for chronically homeless individuals and families, we will help our neighbors stay warm this winter by providing 200 pairs of slippers for them!

So, while you’re Christmas shopping, pick up an extra pair of adult slippers (any size or style) and bring them unwrapped to the church by Dec. 16, so that we can give them at a Christmas brunch at the Curtner Studios on Thursday Dec. 20.

Also needed are 10 people to hand them out and serve at the catered brunch on the 20th (11-1pm). If you can serve our neighbors that day, contact:

Let’s warm their hearts by warming their feet this Christmas!

UPDATE: Curtner Studios’ residents loved the Christmas party and slippers we gave them! Over 270 pairs were donated. Thank you, everyone who gave and participated!
