Off the Hill

Serving off the Hill in the city is how we share Christ's love with our city. We are committed to elevating life in San Jose in order for people to recognize that Church on the Hill cares for people. Once they discover that we care, they will trust the message we are ready to share.

Some of us serve in kid's clubs, hospitals, shelters and prisons, and in ministries to the physically disabled and homeless.

It's a "Charlie Brown" Christmas!

The holidays are fast approaching and for some parents who are just barely getting by, that is a stressful time, because they don't have much money for presents and all the trimmings.

So this year, to serve the needy right near our church, we are putting on a Charlie Brown Christmas Celebration on Saturday Dec. 9th for 40 of Galarza Elementary's most under-resourced students. The school is graciously allowing us to host the party right on the school campus and share the Nativity story!

To bless these kids, we need age-specific presents and monetary donations toward the trees and stockings, plus volunteers to help put on the party!

If you'd like to bless a child who might not otherwise get a present this year, there are three ways to get involved:

1. You could grab an ornament from the Galarza tree in the lobby, buy a $25 present for the specific age and gender written on the back and bring it unwrapped to church by Dec. 3rd.

2. Or, if you don't have time to shop, grab a ornament from the lobby tree and attach a check for that present or give online and we'll do the shopping for you.

3. Or serve at the party by signing up below.
