Spring Week 6 The Servant's Heart

This week as we are continuing in our series focusing on Philippians 1, some of the major themes are gratitude, joy, and serving together. Sounds easy enough for a group discussion, but please be aware that when everyone agrees that something is a good and positive thing–like gratitude, joy, or serving together–all too often the conversation just goes to what we think about those things and their importance. However, if the conversation never gets to how those things impact us currently in our personal lives and whether or not we really have them, then sadly we pretty much miss the point and just have a high level talk that those things are good. All that to say, make sure this becomes tangible and personal and talk through specific examples and people if you want this week to have the potential impact that it can.
