Winter Week 4 Good News For The Guilty
Hey, Leaders!
I hope you are all doing great and that your prayer experience last week went well. Remember, as we start our fourth week of the season, to make sure that you begin each week with one or two people from your group responding to the question of the season.
This week we will be continuing our series in Romans and talking specifically about sin. Verses 26 and 27 in the first chapter speak directly about homosexuality and sexual sin which currently has the potential to be a divisive topic, so be prepared for that. Remember that the desire in groups is not to share our own thoughts and opinions nor highlight what we think and what we feel, but instead we are to focus on what scripture says and what God’s design and plan for humanity is. Our discussions in group are not to get approval or agreement but instead to make sure we are clear on what the Bible says. In all of this please remember to be open and honest and talk about what the Bible says and do it in a loving, kind, and respectful manner.
