Fall Week 6 Better
Reminder: This week is the service week, and the service project is on Saturday. If your group is able, please sign up and join. https://churchonthehill.churchcenter.com/calendar/event/231787167
Leaders, as we continue our study in Hebrews, this week we’re looking at how Jesus has done what the old sacrificial system could never fully accomplish. Through His once-for-all sacrifice, He has secured our redemption, cleansed our consciences, and opened the way for us to draw near to God.
As you lead, help your group consider where guilt or the desire to “prove ourselves” can keep us from experiencing the freedom Christ has already given us, and how repentance can be a secure return to Him rather than an attempt to earn back His favor. Thank you for faithfully creating space for people to be honest, grow, and encourage one another. Our hope is that we would not only rest more deeply in Jesus’ finished work, but also become people who love others out of gratitude for all Christ does for us.
Have a great week. Here are your resources.
