Giving Tree Christmas Drive

Every child deserves a gift at Christmas, but some who have been removed from their home for their own safety, might not get one, because sadly, they ended up in an emergency shelter home, group home, or foster home. We want to make sure that doesn’t happen, so this Christmas we are partnering with Help One Child, a non-profit that helps at-risk children, to provide 100 gifts.

Just sign up at church or go to the QR code below and choose by age category and then buy a present or two $40-50 in value and bring it to COTH by Dec. 4, 9am-11:00am. Then the child’s parent will have a chance to come to COTH to choose from our “Santa’s Secret Shop” something that their child would want. We want the parent to be the hero in the child’s life!

If you’re not much of a shopper, you could purchase one of the $25 gift cards for Target, Walmart, or Amazon and bring it to church by Dec. 4 as well. This enables Help One Child to purchase presents for those that didn’t get fulfilled.

Volunteers Needed: If you’d like to volunteer for Gift Sorting on Dec. 4 (11:00am-12pm) or Gift Distribution on Dec. 11 (11:00am-1pm), write to susan@churchonthehill.com.

Let’s bless these children who so need and deserve our love this Christmas!
