Fall Week 7 Esther

Hey, Leaders!

We are in the last week of our study in the book of Esther. Hopefully it has been a blessing for you and your group and has created some great conversations that have moved people closer in their relationships with God. As we wrap up the book this week, we will be looking at chapters 9 and 10 specifically, as well as the whole book of Esther.

We will also be bringing up the question of what we do when we come to parts of Scripture that we wrestle with because they don’t make sense to us nor seem to be fair in our eyes. Please remember, especially as leaders, that having people wrestle with tough passages is actually a good thing. It is not your responsibility, though, or the responsibility of anyone in the group, to try to fix or solve someone else’s struggle; and it actually wouldn’t even help.  Instead, help them ask more questions and discuss options of what could be done.  You might just ask deeper questions about the struggle, but please remember that the tension is okay and struggling actually makes us stronger and helps us to really process.

Have a great week!
