Fall Week 6 Esther

Hey, leaders,

This week we are discussing the eighth chapter of Esther.  One of the main focuses will be on the transition Esther made from seeming to primarily be concerned just with herself to being concerned for her people also.  We see this by her going back to the king begging for their safety even though she and Mordecai were already safe. We want to dig into how much our relationship with God is focused on ourselves and what we get, compared to our focus on others and the impact we can have on them. The goal is not to cast guilt but to experience the fullness of God's plan and design for us as well as for the body that we are a part of.

This is our CG Fall Season Serve Experience week, so if you have already done or have planned to do your service project this week, that definitely correlates with this week’s focus. If you haven't planned your service project, hopefully you are doing that soon so it will tie it in with what we’re learning from Esther.

Have a great week!
