Winter Week 8 Good News For The Guilty

We are into the “good news” part of Romans! Occasionally you might even hear a very cheesy, pastor quote referring to Romans 3:21 as “Paul’s big beautiful but.” Because the tone of the passage changes as Paul changes his focus from sin to “but now,” we move into the “righteousness through Christ” portion. Granted, we are in week 8 of a 9-week season, but at least we got here before the end of the season.
Good news: we will continue in Romans next season, and probably the one after that. Obviously, a significant part of why Paul focused so much on our unrighteousness, however, is because it helps us realize just how good the good news of righteousness through Christ really is!
